A new emergency service offered free of charge with every home insurance policy.

Main Features

In the case of a home emergency, clients are advised to call our approved contractor on
21 222 333.

  • Our approved Contractor will advise you how to protect yourself and your home immediately. They will then carry out emergency repairs if necessary.
  • Home clients are eligible to three claims per period of insurance, and we will pay to a maximum of €200 for any one incident.
  • Atlas will take care of all necessary payments.
  • If the repairs exceed these limits, the client will be responsible for the difference unless these repairs become payable as an insurable loss under any other sections of the client’s home policy.
  • Cover

    Emergency incidents that are covered by this section include:

    • Plumbing problems related to
      • leaking water pipes or fixed water installations; or
      • leaking or blocked drains; or
      • leaking sanitary fixtures and fittings within your home;
    • Failure of the electrical supply affecting all sockets and/or lighting on one or more levels;
    • Loss or theft of or damage to the only available key to your home where you are unable to gain access;
    • Broken or damaged windows and doors (including locks thereto) presenting a security risk or where you are not able to gain any access your private residence.
