Step 1. Notify us about your accident

Being in an accident is stressful. Filing an insurance claim shouldn’t be. We’ve been helping our clients with their claims for nearly 100 years. With all this practice, we’ve got lots of experience in getting our clients back to normal quickly and fairly!

Advise us (at any of our branches) of the accident on the same day it occurs by phone on 23 43 53 63 or 8007 3434, by email on insure@atlas.com.mt, or come to our offices.

If the accident occurs on a weekend or holiday, email us or call us first thing on the next working day.

  • If someone is injured immediately call Emergency 112

  • If it’s a Bumper to Bumper, move the vehicles to the side of the road and fill out the form.

    For other accidents call the Local Wardens on 2132 0202

  • If your vehicle needs to be towed, you can call Atlas 24/7 RoadAssist on 2122 2111

What else to do – and not do – after an accident:
  • Stay calm and focused.
  • From a safe spot, take photos of the incident and note the weather conditions.
  • Gather contact information from all involved and possibly from witnesses.
  • Gather the following information from anyone involved in the accident/incident: name, address, telephone number, vehicle registration number, insurer, type of insurance and policy number.
  • Don’t give an opinion on who was at fault.
  • Discuss accident details only with the police, wardens or your insurance company.
  • Don’t leave unless instructed to by police or wardens if they have been involved.
