Step 1. After the accident notify us immediately
Claims related to your rental properties can vary in severity from theft or malicious damage to storm damage. Here are some basic guidelines to help you through the claim process.

Immediately after an accident:
It is important that your tenants are safe and this should be your most important priority.
Advise us of the incident on the same day it occurs on 2343 5363 or email us on [email protected]
It the incident occurs when our offices are closed, please notify us as soon as possible on the next working day. Kindly let us have your policy number reference.
When possible, take photos of the damages and do not dispose of any damaged items.

| Protect your tenants. Also protect your property from further damage as best as you can. Inform us as soon as possible. |

| Make sure your tenants are given immediate attention and taken to hospital if such injuries are serious. |
| Damages to your rental property by your tenants or other third parties |
| When your rental property suffers damages due to negligence by your tenants or other third parties, please ensure that you provide us with details of such persons. |
| Burst Pipes |
| Turn off the water from the water main as well as from the water tanks. Make sure that electricity is switched off if there is water flooding. |
| Theft |
| If there is a break-in into your rental property, your or tenants are to call the police immediately and nothing is to be touched until the police and/or forensic experts tell you to do so. You will need to let them know what has been stolen to enable them to issue the theft report. You will also need to notify us as soon as reasonably possible and we might send our representative to carry out a survey. Please ensure that after all inspections have been carried out, the property is secured again possible with immediate change of locks, replacement of any shutters, glass etc. |

| In case of fire, please make sure that all tenants leave the rental property immediately and are taken to another safe property. Please make sure that no one enters the property until the rental property is declared safe again. We will definitely need to send our representative to carry out the relevant survey. |
