The person selected for this role will be responsible for operating a branch office and will be entrusted with a portfolio of existing clients from the area, with the aim of maintaining existing business as well as creating and optimising new business opportunities. This post also involves dealing in all classes of business including claims handling and some administrative tasks.
This person will join a team of branch officers each in charge of their own designated branch office. The chosen candidate will gain wide-ranging experience in underwriting, sales and claims through exposure to all classes of business.
You should fulfil the following requirements:
• A good advanced level of education and preferably insurance qualifications
• Excellent communication skills
• IT proficiency including good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Insurance experience
• Fluent written and spoken Maltese and English
You should be entrepreneurial and enjoy the challenge of a sales job. Should you be selected, full on the job training will be given.
