As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts and you will need to monitor and reconcile bank and investment records. You will also need to coordinate the timely submission of monthly accounting data from third party insurance managers, prepare financial reports and assist in the completion of Solvency II and other regulatory returns. Finally, you will also be assisting the CFO and FC with the annual forecasting and budgeting process and you will need to assist in the completion of the annual audit.
The Accountant may also be involved in other duties that may be required in the overall management and servicing of the group.
You must have excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills whilst you also need to be pro-active and be able to work on own initiative.
• Applicants must be in possession of an Accounting qualification (University Degree, ACCA or equivalent). Candidates in their final stages of obtaining their ACCA would also be considered.
• 3 years working experience is required whilst experience in Insurance would be considered an asset.
