Atlas Insurance is proud to have sponsored and presented the Digital Marketing Innovation Award at this year’s Junior Achievement (JA) Malta Finals and Awards Night, an event that celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity of Malta’s promising young talent.
This year’s winners in the Digital Marketing category were Matter from Verdala International School, recognised for their innovative wellness product, The Eye of Horus Mat. Designed to promote focus and mindfulness, the mat combines sustainable materials with a unique visual guide for breathing techniques.
Matter stood out for their exceptionally well-rounded and strategic approach to digital marketing. Their strong social media presence, creative use of user-generated content, and professional website, used for both sales and brand engagement, set them apart. They also impressed with strategic collaborations, TV features, and data-driven campaign planning that sustained momentum throughout the year.
Matthew von Brockdorff, Managing Director & CEO of Atlas Insurance, who also presented the award to the winners, commented: “We take our commitment to the JA Malta Start Up Programme very seriously, as we truly recognise its impact in nurturing future entrepreneurs. We’re especially proud to sponsor the Digital Marketing Innovation Award, which highlights the vital role marketing plays in a product’s success. It’s been incredibly inspiring to see the team behind Matter apply such creativity and passion – not only in developing a unique and thoughtful product, but also in championing mental health and wellbeing.”
In addition to sponsoring the Digital Marketing Innovation Award, Atlas Insurance maintains an enduring collaboration with JA Malta – a partnership that has flourished for over a decade and was recently renewed for a further three years. Through this partnership, Atlas actively contributes to JA Malta’s mission of equipping young people with vital skills in entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy. Atlas Insurance also plays a hands-on role in the JA Young Entrepreneurship Programme by delivering lectures on market research and digital marketing, helping students gain practical insights that are crucial for real-world success.
