Atlas Insurance has recently donated new kitchenware to the Rainbow Ward within the Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre. The presentation was done by Atlas Marketing and HR Manager, Jackie Attard Montalto during a visit to the ward.

Parents who need to spend long periods of time at the hospital because of their children’s conditions spend a lot of time in the ward’s kitchen, to bring the comfort of home cooked food to them, and with a full set of kitchenware this task is definitely a lot easier.

“In this small way, we hope to give some respite to the parents and their children who are here for longer stays,” said Ms Attard Montalto. “We are proud to help the Rainbow Ward team, led by Angele and Rennie from Puttinu Cares. Their enthusiasm and positive attitude is a shining example to all of us, in their effort to create a comfortable home at the Rainbow Ward for their young patients and their parents.”
