For Employee Appreciation Day this year, Atlas Insurance managers spent time ‘in the shoes’ of their team members, carrying out tasks usually taken care of by their staff. The managers were assigned work by their teams, which included handling quotations and renewals for different insurance products such as travel, motor and corporate health insurance, as well as filing and answering client emails.

“The aim of ‘In your shoes’ initiative is to immerse managers in the day-to-day operations of their departments, and in the spirit of collaboration, to look into how we can improve and simplify the way we work,” said Marketing & HR manager Jackie Attard Montalto.

This was followed by pizza cooked on site in a wood burning oven for all at lunch time and a lottery of gifts for staff.
