Atlas Insurance recently participated in the Junior Achievement Young Enterprise – Leaders for a Day Programme. During this day, Atlas Chief Financial Officer, John Muscat was shadowed by Francesca Tabone, who is a graduate from the JAYE Malta Company Programme.

John Muscat is a Chartered Certified Accountant who has worked within the Atlas Finance Department for over eight years.

“We hope that Francesca enjoyed her experience at Atlas and that it has given her an idea about the role and functions of a finance department within an organisation,” said Mr Muscat. “The Programme was an interesting opportunity to meet one of the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.”

The Leaders for a Day Programme is a day-long activity which gives young, aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to job shadow a person in senior management at a leading Maltese company. The students spend the day shadowing their mentors, taking first-hand experience of a typical day’s work in Malta’s top-most levels of the private sector.
