Volcanic Ash Cover ... Now available
A new optional extension is now available when purchasing travel insurance from Atlas in the wake of the disturbances to travel caused by the eruption of volcanic ash earlier this year. More information on this optional extension can be found under Cancelled Services.
If this insurance cover is purchased, Atlas will pay up to €2,000 if a flight service is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or other natural disasters.
This optional extension is only available with Standard and Premier cover options and must be purchased by all persons insured under the same policy.
Clients interested in purchasing this extension currently cannot do so when purchasing travel insurance online. However, travel insurance can still be bought online after which the client is asked to contact Atlas to express his interest in the extension. Online services will be updated shortly.
