Value Option
This option is available with any of the plans

• Provides cover for in-patient and daycare treatment according to the selected plan benefits
• Out-patient benefits will be excluded from cover

Preventive Care Extension
Available only as an extension to Full Cover plans

• Annual Dental check up / Routine eyesight testing by an optometrist - Up to €40 per year
• Skin cancer screening - up to €40 per year
• Alternative or complementary treatment on referral by GP - Up to €125 per year over and above existing benefits applicable under benefit plan
• Prosthetic appliances not forming an integral part of a surgical procedure - 75% of cost up to €250 per year

Preventive Care Plus Extension
Available only as an extension to Full Cover plans

All benefits included under the Preventive Care Option (above) plus the following:

• Routine cervical cancer screening; Routine mammography / ultrasound examination for a woman aged 45 years or over; Annual prostate examination and PSA test for a man aged over 45 years or over - Up to €110 per year
• Liver function tests and Lipid profile tests for members aged over 40 years – Up to €50 per year
• Bone densitometry for members aged over 45 years – Up to €110 every two years
• Stress ECG for members aged over 45 years - Up to €145 every two years

Bone densitometry and Stress ECG are not payable in the first twelve months of being registered for this optional benefit.
