AXA PPP healthcare CEO Keith Gibbs and AXA PPP International* Managing Director Andrew Coombs visited the island to host a lunch for directors and staff last week to mark the 10th anniversary of Atlas’s agency appointment by AXA PPP healthcare.

New Online Service for Hospital Treatment from AXA PPP healthcare and Atlas
Atlas Healthcare has launched yet another new service on their website, www.atlas.com.mt which enables clients to pre-authorise insurance cover for their hospital treatment online rather than calling the offices to see what is required.
Before going in for hospital treatment, clients should always check with Atlas to make sure that they are covered for the particular treatment in question and to ensure that the hospital is a supporting hospital. This service offered by Atlas helps to avoid problems which may occur after treatment when claiming for the expenses incurred for private hospital in-patient or day patient procedures.
To facilitate the process, clients can now fill in an online form in one straightforward step through a secure, confidential transaction. A confirmation of receipt is automatically sent to the client via email which will be followed by a password protected document confirming the client’s level of cover and how it applies to the hospital in which the client will receive treatment.
