Edmond Agius is Atlas Insurance player of the month for December.

Edmond Agius of Valletta FC is the Atlas Insurance player of the month for December.  This award, given by One TV sports programme L-Argument is awarded through votes given by ONE sports journalists after viewing the Maltese Premier League football games.

The Valletta midfielder from Rabat has been playing football since the young age of 6.  He began his career playing for Hibernians and made his debut in the Premier League in 2005.  Edmond later joined Valletta FC in 2008 and has displayed a number of positive appearances ever since. Throughout the month of December, Edmond contributed to Valletta’s winning streak - earning another 6 points, to lead the table with a total of 44 points. 

The award was presented at the Atlas Insurance Birkirkara Branch by Mr. Keith Tanti, Atlas’ Branches Manager.

As part of their corporate social responsibility programme and part of the Player of the Month award, Atlas donates €200 each month to a charitable institution of the winner’s choice. Edmond Agius chose to offer his donation to ‘Dar tal- Providenza."
