The Hibernians and national midfielder/forward from Zabbar has been playing football since the young age of 10. Reluctant to join any football nursery, Clayton used to enjoy playing football on the streets, but with the encouragement of his father this soon changed. Clayton joined St. Patrick’s football nursery soon after. Today playing for Hibernians, Clayton has been in sparkling form with master performances during the month of October helping his team build up three successive wins and a draw from the four matches played last month. Clayton has also recorded a total of four goals this month and was twice voted man of the match.

The presentation was held at the Atlas Insurance Paola Regional Office by Mr. Keith Tanti, Atlas’ Branches Manager.

As part of their corporate social responsability programme and part of the Player of the Month award, Atlas donates €200 each month to a charitable institution of the winner’s choice. Clayton Failla opted for The Malta Diabetes Association - a charity that not many are aware of.  Clayton, who knows several people who suffer from diabetes, feels that this cause deserves to be helped.
